Additional UPS flight boosts India-Europe air cargo capacity

As Indian exports hit record highs in 2024 especially to the United States, UPS has nearly doubled its air freight capacity between Delhi and its European Air Hub in Cologne, Germany, responding to the growing demand across key export sectors like automotive, industrial manufacturing, retail, and healthcare. This strategic upgrade is supported by the deployment of a Boeing 747-8 freighter, which significantly boosts capacity and strengthens India’s role in the global supply chain and freight forwarding ecosystem. The route also acts as a critical bridge for cargo between Europe and the U.S., leveraging UPS’s extensive freight systems and supply chain solutions in both regions.
