Celcius Logistics, a homegrown third-party logistics company specializing in cold chain solutions, has secured ₹250 crore in its Series B funding round. The round was co-led by Eurazeo and Omnivore, with continued support from existing investor IvyCap Ventures. The funding includes a mix of equity investment, debt financing, and secondary transactions. Key debt partners in the round include Trifecta Capital, Lighthouse Canton, BlackSoil, UCIC, and GetVantage.

The Mumbai-based company plans to use the capital to expand its cold chain network to over 1,000 cities across India and strengthen its technology platform to cater to growing demand for temperature-controlled logistics across sectors like food, pharmaceuticals, and retail. Celcius has recently ventured into pharmaceutical logistics, enabling the safe and efficient delivery of critical medical supplies across the country.

This latest fundraise follows a ₹40 crore pre-Series B round closed in May 2024. With this, the company’s total funding has reached approximately ₹390 crore since its inception in 2020.

“This funding comes at a crucial juncture as we scale operations and build capabilities across verticals. Our focus is on expanding reach, enhancing customer relationships, and delivering tech-enabled, reliable cold chain logistics,” said founder and CEO Swarup Bose.

Celcius currently operates in over 600 cities, supported by a fleet of 4,000+ vehicles, 150 cold storage and distribution hubs, and over 250 hyperlocal riders. Its clientele includes leading brands such as Blinkit, Zepto, Zomato, Domino’s, Keventers, and Baskin Robbins.

Safexpress has launched a modern logistics park in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, strategically located along the Chennai-Kolkata NH-16 in Savaragudem, Gannavaram Mandal, Krishna District. Spanning 3.5 lakh square feet, the facility is built to serve the growing warehousing and distribution needs of the region with advanced transshipment and 3PL (third-party logistics) capabilities.

Designed for operational efficiency, the logistics park features a cross-dock setup capable of handling over 100 vehicles simultaneously. Its column-free structure, with an 80-foot span, facilitates seamless goods movement, while 16-foot-wide cantilever sheds enable all-weather loading and unloading.

As the second-largest city in Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada is a vital commercial hub with thriving sectors such as textiles, agro-processing, pharmaceuticals, and automobile body building. The city’s strategic location, strong transport links, and proximity to agricultural belts make it a prime center for trade and industry. Rapid growth in IT and construction sectors is further fueling its development.

Safexpress’ new facility aims to fill key infrastructure gaps and meet the region’s rising demand for reliable and efficient supply chain solutions. The logistics park is expected to significantly improve transit times and logistics support for businesses across Andhra Pradesh and neighboring states.

In line with sustainable development practices, the park features integrated rainwater harvesting, a dedicated green zone, ample use of natural daylight, and modern firefighting systems with trained personnel for safety.

With this launch, Safexpress continues to strengthen its logistics network, ensuring faster, greener, and more dependable freight services across India.
